After studying graphic design at Richmond College of Art, London, Guy completed a landscaping apprenticeship in Southern England, and carried out interior landscaping projects during the 1980’s, installing large indoor tropical displays in London.

He travelled extensively throughout Australasia, studying Permaculture and Sustainable Design. He continued studying Ecology at Emerson College, Sussex, specialising in Bio-Dynamic Horticulture and Development Studies, which included projects with the Tibetan Government in Ladakh on high-altitude homestead gardening.

He returned to Europe and successfully applied these techniques and skills to a variety of landscaping and gardening projects. He now designs gardens and land management projects throughout Umbria, Tuscany and the UK, working with a group of artisans known as The Lush Collective.
